Oliver Tunnard and myself received our certificates as umpires yesterday. We now have 3 qualified umpires.
The third umpire in the photo is Jane Hindmarch from Newark. Jane is a valuable member of the umpiring team for our head, her management of the boats in the marshalling area is second to none.
We received our certificates from Sam, chairman of national umpiring committee (and immediate past chair of the regional committee) and Dan, current chair of the regional committee (and immediate past chair of the national committee - yes they did a job swap!)
